How did you come across InVideo?

Thanks to my engineering batchmates, Aditya and Ajitesh, who happened to join InVideo before I did. Ajitesh gave me a reference here and I joined soon after!

What was your interview experience like?

I had my interview precisely two years ago, Sept ’18. I had just graduated from college, looking for exciting opportunities. I had an interview scheduled with Quantiphi Analytics which actually went pretty well. Believe it or not, the very same evening I got a call from my friend asking if I’d like to work at InVideo. I came in for an interview the next day and this went pretty well too! It ended with Sanket asking me to join right away. I asked him to give me a couple of days since I was waiting for the final call from Quantiphi. However, Sanket gave me one hour to decide, and give an answer before exiting the office.

Now Quantiphi was a corporate company, good pay, decent work and InVideo was a startup I hadn’t heard about until other evening. But I decided to go with my gut, and what felt right. This has been the best decision of my life, a wonderful journey of 2 years now.

Why InVideo?

Startup environment, friendly culture and a great learning curve: things I knew would help me as a fresher. Also, bonus is that I get to work with two of my engineering batchmates who were already in the company (they’re still in the company).

Finally, what’s one moment/incident that stands out in your time at InVideo?

There was a Diwali party in 2018 where me, Harsh and Dhaval (ex-employee) got super wasted and had to crash into a hotel, which I’ll never forget! XD
